Depending on the type of pool you are having built, you could be enjoying your custom JMK pool in about six to eight weeks. A pool with more features and design work will take a little longer than a basic pool. The weather, additional construction and the type of  landscaping you would like are all major factor for the length of time it takes for your custom pool to be built.

What is the homeowner responsible for during the building process?

The homeowner may be responsible for permits, gas line installation, landscaping and filling the pool with water when construction is complete.  Our consultants will let you know what you need to do during the construction process to satisfy township regulations or other construction requirements.

What are the township regulations for building a custom pool?

As a homeowner looking into building a custom pool, you can call or go to your local township building and ask for the requirements for building a pool in your area. Also, you may want to ask if a topography is required and if you need to apply for a variance if your back yard isn't big enough for a pool. Acquiring all this information before design and construction may avoid set backs during the construction process. Every township has different regulations, therefore, it's important that any questions be answered by your township officials.
